“From the time I was a boy, I loved being in the kitchen – especially when my grandmother was baking. I would climb up on a stool and help her mix the batter. Stirring intently, I joyfully absorbed the many virtues of chocolate and our tradition of family baking. I was hooked.

 

Over the years I have created a line of recipes for the people I love and a multitude of faithful customers. My brownies have become famous at parties and the phrase ‘Whose brownies are these?’ invariably accompanies the arrival of every batch. They are my brownies…and now they can be yours too.”

 

 

“My grandmother ran the bakery in our small Midwestern town and both sides of my family have passionately maintained their “secret recipes” for generations. Baking was my destiny and chocolate my passion – but I went to college, became an accountant, and had two children. Except for the traditional holiday baking, I had little time for exploring. I could only dream that my work and my passion would someday be one and the same.
